New Offices in Birmingham and Bristol

James Blake Associates has lots to celebrate!  We have opened offices in Birmingham and Bristol, welcomed new members of staff, and we’re about to celebrate 30 years in business.

Heading up our new offices is Andrew Willerton for Birmingham, and Adrian Winstone for Bristol.  Both Senior Landscape Architects have extensive experience of both private and public sector works.  We also welcome senior Landscape Architect, Andrew Furness, from Scotland.

Our three new senior LA’s are all firm advocates of value innovation and working towards a greener and more sustainable future – that going green to help save the planet also helps our client’s commercial interests.  These strategies ensure more sustainable, bio diverse, low carbon and low maintenance developments but also saves the clients significant sums of money, adding to their triple bottom line; their results, relationships and reputation.

We’re also in the process of organising a rather special party to be held next June, to celebrate our 30 years in business.  1988 was the year when Kylie, Cliff and Ghostbusters ruled, ‘Rain Man’ was the highest-grossing movie, a pint of beer cost £1, and James was most likely wearing a very smart, double-breasted suit!

It’s been a very exciting 30 years – lots of adventures, achievements, rewards, challenges, and successes.  Today, we are growing rapidly, moving forward, and developing our business at every level.  We’re certainly looking forward to the next 30 years, and wondering which corners of the globe we’ll be operating from in 2048!
