Summary:
JBA was appointed to provide a scheme for environmental improvements to the extension of the hospital including a fire pond. The size of the pond was determined by the volume of water needed in case od a fire.
The brief was to design an attractive space with minimum maintainance cost as well as to stabalise a 1.5m change in level.
JBA implemented the design with a nominated Landscape contractor (Carter) under JCT 80 contract.
