The Landscape Institute is an educational charity and chartered body responsible for protecting, conserving and enhancing the natural and built environment for the benefit of the public. It champions well-designed and well-managed urban and rural landscape. The Institute's accreditation and professional procedures ensure that the designers, managers and scientists who make up the landscape architecture profession work to the highest standards. Its advocacy and education programmes promote the landscape architecture profession as one which focuses on design, environment and community in order to inspire great places where people want to live, work and visit.
IEEM is the professional body that represents and supports ecologists and environmental managers in the UK, Ireland and abroad. Established in 1991, IEEM has over 4,000 members drawn from local authorities, government agencies, industry, environmental consultancy, teaching/research, and NGOs.
They provide a variety of services to develop the competency and standards of professional ecologists and environmental managers and also promote ecology and environmental management as a profession.

The Arboricultural Association was founded in 1964 and is the largest body in the UK for the amenity tree care professional. A range of membership grades exists linked to National Qualifications Framework levels. Members can progress through the membership grade structure as their career progresses in either civic or commercial employment at craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy level. There are approximately 2,000 Arboricultural Association members
