Arboriculture

Planning and Development
As trees often form an intrinsic part of the character and appearance of an area, when development is proposed on a site it is necessary to ascertain the quality and value of individual and groups of trees and other significant vegetation. British Standard 5837 gives recommendations in this regard. In accordance with this BS our arboricultural service includes the preparation of Tree Survey Schedules, Tree Constraints Plans, Arboricultural Implications Assessments, Arboricultural Method Statements and Tree Protection Plans which are essential elements of the planning process in relation to trees. Once construction begins we provide monitoring and supervision to ensure the protection of trees throughout demolition and construction processes. In addition we provide advice regarding the management of trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders or Conservation Area status.
