James Blake Associates is an innovative design consultancy of landscape architects, arboriculturists and ecologists. It is a truly integrated multi-disciplinary team with an ethos of open communication.

The Practice was founded in 1988 by Chartered Landscape Architect and Principal, James Blake, working in those days from his garden shed! Since then the practice has grown rapidly and now employs more than 30 members of staff.

James Blake Associates has extensive experience in commercial, residential and public sector development projects of all sizes. Our clients include developers, development consortiums, institutions, architectural and planning consultancies and the public bodies sector, as well as private landowners.
